Oz Malkesman is Vice President, Head of Program Management at Metaphore. He brings vast experience in project, program, and portfolio management in numerous therapeutic areas, including managing multiple delivery modalities in different development stages – early discovery to late clinical phases.

Prior to Metaphore, Oz was executive director of program and portfolio management at Valo, leading two clinical programs in Phase 2 in cardiovascular and diabetes. Before Valo, Oz worked at Cerevel Therapeutics as a senior program lead director, leading three early-stage clinical CNS programs. His program management experience extends to oncology at KronosBio and rare diseases at CAMP4 Therapeutics where he served as a director of program management, leading programs from early discovery to late clinical phases.

Oz received a BA in Psychology and Philosophy, MBA in Marketing, and PhD in Neuroscience, all from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at NIH/NIMH in the lab of Husseini Manji; Laboratory of Molecular Pathology.
